About OmniCalc

OmniCalc is a collection of free, fast, privacy respecting calculators and converters. The site has one design principle: every tool should load instantly, work on any device, and give a correct answer without asking anything of you in return.

Privacy by architecture

All tools run entirely in your web browser. When you calculate a loan payment or count the words in a document, that data is processed on your own device and never transmitted to a server. There are no accounts, no forms to fill in, and nothing to install.

Accuracy

Each calculator uses standard, published formulas: the amortization formula used by banks, the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for calorie needs, exact international unit definitions, and so on. Every tool page documents its method and answers common questions. Results are provided for informational purposes and are not professional financial, medical, or legal advice.

Free, supported by advertising

The site may display unobtrusive advertisements to cover its costs and keep every tool free for everyone. Ads never affect calculation results.
